TERRAMASTER F2-425 – 2-bay NAS, Intel quad-core, 4 GB RAM, 2.5GbE (diskless)
The F2-425 is a quiet 2-bay NAS for families who want one place for photos, videos and backups. Its Intel quad-core processor and 2.5GbE port keep files and 4K streaming responsive.
What the F2-425 does for your data
The Intel x86 quad-core processor and 4 GB of memory handle 4K transcoding and several tasks at once.
A 2.5GbE port speeds up file transfers and lets several users access the NAS at the same time.
Hardware 4K H.265 decoding and compatibility with Plex, Emby and Jellyfin make it a capable home media server, with DLNA for streaming to other devices.
The TNAS Mobile app sets up the NAS without a computer and backs up photos and videos from your phone automatically.
TRAID flexible arrays, the SPC security module and CloudSync with Google Drive, OneDrive or Dropbox help protect your data, while TerraSync keeps PCs and Macs in two-way sync.
At 19 dB(A) it is quiet enough for a bedroom or living room, and Push-Lock trays let you fit a drive in about 10 seconds without tools.
