CHOOSE WELL
Add the power of appliances likely to run together and account for the start-up demand of the most demanding equipment.
Compare Wh with your real consumption, conversion losses and how often you will be able to recharge.
Check accepted power, voltage and connectors. A larger panel only helps when the power station can use its output correctly.
If your needs may grow, check whether the model supports an expansion battery and whether that battery is explicitly compatible.
Compare AC, USB and 12 V outputs alongside weight and dimensions. More capacity also means more equipment to carry.
Start with the combined output your appliances require, then estimate the energy needed in Wh. Choose a model that covers both without unnecessary size or weight.
A power station stores and supplies electricity. A solar generator usually describes a kit containing a power station and a solar panel. Always check the exact contents listed.
Only to models designed for one and with a battery explicitly listed as compatible. A similar product name is not proof of compatibility.
Voltage, current, maximum input power and connector type must all match the power station. Check all four specifications.
