How to size an expansion battery
An expansion battery extends runtime but does not increase the main station’s output or add extra appliance sockets. Exact model compatibility is therefore the first check: a similar product name or connector is not enough, because the battery-management system must also be designed for the same station.
Then total the daily watt-hours used by your priority devices and rank them by importance. That shows whether one module is enough for refrigeration, broadband and lighting, or whether further batteries offer a meaningful multi-day reserve without adding unnecessary cost, weight and floor space.
